Here are the various ways I can work with you or the services that I can offer. If you’d like to discuss ideas or collaborations drop me a message on the Contact page.
Producing
Having been the Creative Producer of HOME Slough, the Executive Producer for Le Gateau Chocolat and Producer of venues Nottingham Playhouse and Theatre503 as well as for theatre companies The Letter Room and Snuff Box Theatre, I have a wealth of experience in producing small to midscale theatre work both in-house and freelance. I have produced site-specific circus, new writing shows, touring (UK/International), the annual Incoming Festival for six years, and much more, including award-winning shows. Producing includes budget and financial management, contracting and deal negotiations, project planning and overseeing. You can see all the work I’ve produced in my portfolio.
Programming
Through my work I have programmed theatre seasons, ongoing theatre studios programmes and festivals. I am an expert at putting together a diverse and authentic programme to compliment a venue, festival or project, including workshop and panel discussions. Seasons programmed have been discussed in the national media including on Good Morning Britain and BBC Radio. I co-programmed all of Incoming Festival whilst being Festival Co-Director, as well as two iterations of Dialogue Festival at Ovalhouse (now Brixton House).
Project Management
Like any producer, I have a strong understanding and experience of project management. I am known for delivering projects on time and in budget. I can handle finances, cash flow, project planning and delivery in both a leadership and team capacity. I have used project management tools including BaseCamp, HighRise, Asana and good old Excel/Google spreadsheets to track projects.
Diversity and Access
I am passionate about diversity, access and equality in the arts. I have advised on the setting up of access boards, recruitment processes and inclusion strategies. I have worked with casting directors, change-makers and Executives on the implementation of diversity and access needs. You can find out more about my Principles of Producing here.
Consultancy
I’m available for consultancy work with arts and cultural organisations, as well as independent artists. I have led on tailor-made consultancy sessions for theatres companies exploring structures, company and artistic development as well as funding strategies. As discussed above, I can also consult on programming and access/diversity solutions.
Bid Writer
Arts Council England grant applications are my thing. I’ve written tens of successful applications as the lead producer, bid writer, or as a consultant for projects, festivals, research and development and full shows. I have an excellent success rate and regularly teach the basics of ACE-bid writing to workshop participants. In 2021 I raised over £1.2 million for arts organisations.
Workshops and Lectures
Delivering workshops and speaking engagements has formed a large part of my work to date. I have given key note speeches for Arts Council Wales and Arts Council England, delivered speeches at conferences, universities and drama schools as well as offered workshops and panel discussions. I am regularly invited by universities to deliver full day sessions on producing, marketing and running a company including guest lecturing at Rose Bruford, Central School of Speech and Drama, Mountview, Hull University, Kings College London amongst others.

Clients that I have undertaken freelance work with includes:
Royal Shakespeare Company, Royal Opera House, British Council, Crying Out Loud, Arts Marketing Association, Boundless Theatre (formerly Company of Angels), Little Angel Theatre, Theatre Royal Stratford East, The Junction, Ovalhouse (now Brixton House) and more…
